Seven Homes would be Declared Open Space by Measure W

On Valota Road and Madison sits Seven Homes that may be targeted to become Open Space. While their lands have R-2 zoning, but they are shown as Park in the General Plan Designation. The City of Redwood City had planned to purchase these homes for park expansion. When that plan was abandon, the designation was not updated. The authors of Measure W took a snapshot of the General Plan designation as of March 13, 2008, thus preventing correction of this error before the November election.
