Macken Canyon is a valley located in the county of Sherman, Oregon, USA. The road shown going into it is fully PRIVATE and owned by the von Borstels. The road called "Buck Creek" is totally washed out in Spears canyon above Macken Canyon where it enters Buck Hollow - it used to be the county road long, long ago. It only exists on paper now. A tiny portion of the Macken Canyon watershed does begin in Wasco County, but 95% at least is soley in Sherman County. A great many roads shown on this and just about every single map I have seen are NOT roads and never were built or have long since washed out and are presently impassable no matter how powerful the truck.
